Detroit Jazz Festival Foundation Announces 2018 Artist-in-Residence

DETROIT - The Detroit Jazz Festival Foundation is thrilled to announce that acclaimed pianist and composer, Chick Corea, will be taking on the role of Artist-in-Residence for the 2018 Detroit Jazz Festival. Coreaís accomplishments in the music industry include being a 22-time Grammy winner, National Endowment for the Arts (NEA) Jazz Master, DownBeat Hall of Famer and the fourth most nominated artist in Grammy history. In his role as Artist-in-Residence, Corea will support the Foundationís multi-faceted year-round educational programming and lead multiple performances during Labor Day weekend.
