DEARBORN - On December 18-19, 2017 Ford Motor Company gathered minority media from all across the United States for an invitation to test drive the all-new 2018 Ford Expedition and new 2018 Ford Mustang, right on the company's home turf.

The program kicked off Monday December 18 with a media dinner at The Henry Hotel, 300 Town Center Drive in Dearborn, MI and continued Tuesday morning with the driving experience beginning at Ford World Headquarters.

We found in driving the 2018 Expedition, that it is one of the smartest, capable and adaptable full size SUVs in the marketplace. Not only is it easy to board and unboard, but both drivers and passengers sides offer comfort and generous space, with plenty of smart storage solutions, new connective technology and entertainment features ready for a spin to the store, work or the family's next vacation road trip.

Platinum: The Platinum model sets the highest standards for Expedition style, convenience and comfort. The new Mustang features a new look with beefed-up exterior skin that has a more muscular look to it. The powerful new 460 horse power, 5.0-liter Coyote V8 engine upgrades has improved performance that you can tell at the first press on the gas peddle.

There’s nothing like a Mustang. Its fastback silhouette conjures up a deep history of show-stopping design. And yet, the new 2018 Mustang feels incredibly modern. The lowered front hood and new fascia frame new LED lighting. And those design cues flow into the body lines to the back, where its muscular haunch lets everyone else on the road know what just passed.

This high-tech 2018 Mustang features five drive modes that allow you to customize the coupe's performance for the task at hand. All-in-all the 2018 Mustang has incredible handling, agelessly cool looks, throaty V-8 exhaust tone and built for the young. The 2018 Expedition is quicker and more capable than the model it replaces. The new Expedition is also be more efficient and handle better. Platinum models will be more luxurious with chrome accents, 22-inch polished alloy wheels, and quilted leather upholstery. Both are solid rides.
