de Fork,
the
annual
tasting
celebration
that
benefits
the
7,500
families
served
by The
Children's
Center,
returns
to
Eastern
Market
on
Thursday,
September
13.
Presented
by Ford
Motor
Company,
Tour de
Fork
features
an
eclectic
and rich
sampling
of the
local
food
scene,
music,
and a
variety
of
playful
activities.
The
event
dovetails
with
Eastern
Market's
Murals
in the
Market
opening
night
festivities.
As Tour
de Fork
patrons
enjoy
music
and
games,
they
sample
from
dozens
of
restaurants
and vote
for the
tastiest
to win
the
Forkie
Award.
All
guests
enjoy
unlimited
access
to food
and
drink
stations.
The
evening
is
emceed
by Shay
Shay,
Morning
Show
Host at
105.1
The
Bounce.
Returning
to
defend
its 2017
title as
Forkie
winner
is
Esto's
Garage.
Joining
him are
several
chefs
representing
eateries
including
Selden
Standard,
Ford's
Garage,
Brome
Modern
Eatery,
and
other
popular
dining
destinations.
This
year
Tour de
Fork
features
a lower
general
admission
ticket
of $55
($60 at
the
door). A
special
VIP
Experience
includes
early
access,
private
seating
and a
"Mixed
Up
Close"
experience
with a
mixologist.
A
limited
number
of VIP
Tickets
are
available
at $150
per
person.
There is
also a
Designated
Driver
$25
Ticket.
