  Two charged as 88-year-old woman survives car jacking attack in store parking  lot

DETROIT - Jason Malinas, 38 and Jessica St. Clair, 41 who are defendants charged in connection with throwing an 88-year-old woman to the ground to steal her purse at a Walmart in Livonia.

Malinas, approached the woman from behind so she couldn’t see his face and quickly grabbed her purse. The incident occurred in a Walmart parking lot in Livonia, Michigan.

After their arraignment in Circuit Court before Judge Lawrence Talon, the final conference has been scheduled for November 30, 2018, at 9:00 a.m., and the Jury Trial is scheduled for January 30, 2019, at 9:00 a.m.
