two
longtime
employees
to top
positions
at the
award-winning
restaurant.
Kip
Donlon
is now
the
General
Manager
and
Chris
Mayer is
the
Executive
Chef.
General
Manager
Kip
Donlon
began
his
career
at Ocean
Prime
Troy as
a server
when the
restaurant
opened
In June
2008. He
is
affectionately
known as
a “Day
One
Associate.”
Most
recently,
Donlon
served
as
assistant
general
manager
before
his
promotion
to
General
Manager.
He
credits
being a
living
example
of
Cameron
Mitchell’s
“people
first”
philosophy
has
helped
him
develop
a strong
management
style of
feedback,
communication
and
empathy.
Executive
Chef,
Mayer
oversees
the
Ocean
Prime
Troy
kitchen.
He has
more
than 20
years of
culinary
experience
and has
worked
in
nearly
every
role in
the
industry.
Mayer
began
his
career
with
Cameron
Mitchell
Restaurants
in 2005
and
joined
the
Ocean
Prime
Troy
team as
a line
cook in
2013. He
was a
sous
chef
prior to
being
named
Executive
Chef.
Through
dedication,
passion
and hard
work,
Mayer
quickly
rose
through
the
ranks
earning
his
title as
executive
chef.
Opened
in June
2008,
the Troy
location
was the
first
Ocean
Prime
concept
created
by
well-known
restaurateur
Cameron
Mitchell.
There
are
currently
15 Ocean
Prime
restaurants
coast to
coast
with a
location
opening
in
Chicago
in
spring
2019.
The
company
culture
fosters

associate
is
empowered

answer

whatever
a guest
may
