MARTIN Technologies Unveils eSPDM Smart Wire Technology at CES 2021

NOVI, MI - MARTIN TECHNOLOGIES will exhibit at the CES 2021 digital event, held on January 11-14, 2021. MARTIN Technologies will unveil its NEW Electronic Smart Power Distribution Module (eSPDM), a SMART WIRE TECHNOLOGY, on January 12, 2021 at 12 pm EST. The patented technology is disruptive and an industry game changer. The technology provides a new and efficient approach to the wiring of vehicles.

Prior technology includes approximately 12,000 feet of wires which reflect 20% of total vehicle costs. The combined wires are heavy, bulky, and have significant warranty costs associated with it.

eSPDM is a smart wire technology consisting of electronic digital modules to transfer electrical current to operate all traditional wiring circuits in a vehicle. The eSPDM provides a new state-of-the-art approach to Mobility -- vehicle wiring. The technology benefits include a 90% decrease in wiring content, lower piece cost per vehicle, and significant mass reduction allowing for improved green gas and fuel economy. Additional state-of-the-art features include a special newly patented fire prevention algorithm, numerous new safety features, enhanced flexibility, built in diagnostic system, EMI noise prevention, and many preventive maintenance features.

The applications for the new eSPDM include:

Automotive                                        Military

Shuttle                                               Marine

Utility                                                  Aerospace

Police                                                 Drone

Fire Trucks                                        AGV/Robotics

Motorcycle                                         Stand A-Lone Power

Ambulances                                       Industrial

                                                           Medical

MARTIN Technologies’ CEO Harold Martin stated, “We are looking forward to debuting our new technology and allowing customers to witness the many technologies and features incorporated in our new disruptive technology. Our Mobility industry has advanced in many segments and the timing could not be better for our eSPDM Smart Intelligent Wiring. CES 21 is a great platform to unveil our new eSPDM technology amongst other great innovations.  We have now advanced from a working prototype to full-sweep engineering testing and validation programs in compliance with the strict standards required by OEM’s.

MARTIN team is moving forward based on receiving early interest from mobility OEM’s requesting a production launch of 2023-2024.
