Saturday,
March
24,
11:00 AM
in
Detroit,
the
'March
for Our
Lives'
event
will be
held at
Rivard
Plaza
1340 E
Atwater
St. on
the
city's
waterfront.
This
gathering,
an all
inclusive
student-led
march is
being
organized
by a
coalition
of very
dedicated
metro-Detroit
high
school
students,
with
support
from a
large
group of
university
students
and
adult
allies.
People
of every
age,
race,
ethnicity,
citizenship
and
gender
will
come
together
for this
cause,
and all
are
welcome.
On March
24,
students
and
community
members
of
'March
For Our
Lives'
will
take to
the
streets
of
Washington,
DC and
nearly
every
other
major
city in
the
United
States
to
demand
that
their
lives
and
safety
become a
priority.
Detroiters
will
march at
the
Riverfront
in view
of and
only .5
miles
from
Canada,
a
country
that has
51 times
fewer
gun
deaths
than the
United
States.
We need
your
help to
deliver
the
message
that
mass
shootings
must
stop in
this
nation
and that
governing
action
on gun
laws
must be
taken.
Our
collective
voices
will be
heard!

this
event,
