women
leaders
of
Detroit
as a
part of
national
awards
programming

Harrington

their
selection
as a
2018
Power 15
Award
honoree
presented
by
Walker’s
Legacy,
a global
platform
for the
professional
and
entrepreneurial
multicultural
woman.
The
Walker’s
Legacy
Detroit
Power 15
Awards
program
is
presented
in
partnership
with
AARP and
the
Minority
Business
Development
Agency
(MBDA)
to
recognize
the
achievements
of
notable
businesswomen
and
community
leaders.
Kimberly
Harrington
is the
owner of
Phlebotomy
Express
Training
Centers,
providing
a 4-week
accelerated
phlebotomy
certification
course
has
assisted
more
than 225
Detroit
area
residents
launch
careers
in the
healthcare
industry.
In
addition
to
Detroit,
the
organization
will
honor a
total of
150
women in
New
York,
Atlanta,
Chicago,
Detroit,
Charlotte,
Philadelphia,
Miami,
Dallas,
Houston
and
Washington,
DC.
Recipients
of the
Power 15
Award
are
women
who have
thrived
in an
array of
industries
including
social
entrepreneurship,
business,
technology,
media,
and real
estate
among
others.
The
private
awards
dinner
program
will be
held in
Detroit
on
November
26, 2018
