Auto
Glow In
September
brings a
new
illumination
on this
annual
event

DETROIT
- No
snow,
boots
and
gloves
needed.
Everyone
was
stunning
without
them as
the
festivities
began to
kick off
the 2022
DETROIT
AUTO
SHOW
CHARITY
PREVIEW.
Being
met by a
group of
dinosaurs
was a
pleasant
surprise
in
contrast
to the
amazing
electric
cars.
Gov.
Whitmer,
Mayor
Duggan,
Wayne
County
Executive
Warren
Evans,
Macomb
County
Executive
Mark
Hackel
and
other
executives
from the
auto
industry
greeted
the
crowd
and cut
the
ribbon
to
officially
start
the
festivities.
The
night
was
spectacular
after
such a
long
wait.
The
excitement
of
viewing
the
latest
cars was
coupled
with the
enthusiasm
of
supporting
the
Detroit
Charity
so they
can
continue
to help
families
in need.
Each
year
brings
its own
flavor
of
unexpected
highlights.
This
year,
Jeep had
a part
in the
creative
moves
like an
adult
carnival
ride.
Drivers
demonstrated
the
durability
of the
vehicles
by
taking
guests
up along
very
steep
narrow
tracks
and
through
simulated
narrow
curved
trails
without
any
barriers.
That was
a good
introduction
to the
many
surprises
encountered.
This
year’s
event
promises
to
entice
the
creative
spirit
of the
car
lovers’
imagination.
The
‘flying
car’ is
sure to
peak the
imagination.
Probably,
there is
a spark
of the
‘What
if?’
buried
in the
automotive
creativity.
Detroit
continues
to lead
the way
into the
future
with new
innovations
of
moving
modes of
transportation.
