Trump

"are you

Over 50

Here's a
wrapup
of
Tuesday's
events
In a
final
pitch
for
voters,
Vice
President
Kamala
Harris
delivered
a speech
from the
Ellipse
in
Washington
DC,
drawing
the
biggest
crowd of
her
campaign.
The
location
is where
Donald
Trump
addressed
supporters
before
the Jan.
6, 2021,
attack
on the
U.S.
Capitol.
Harris
drew
contrasts
between
herself
and
Trump.
“Trump
has
spent a
decade
trying
to keep
the
American
people
divided
and
afraid
of each
other.
That is
who he
is, but
America,
I am
here
tonight
to say
that is
not who
we are”
Harris
said.
The
crowd at
Harris’
rally
was over
75,000
people,
a
campaign
official
said,
nearly
four
times
the
original
crowd
estimates.
As
Harris
spoke in
Washington,
Trump
visited
a
heavily
Hispanic
city in
Pennsylvania,
two days
after
comedian
Tony
Hinchcliffe's
comments
about
Puerto
Rico
drew
outrage
at the
New York
rally.
Trump
sprinkled
his
standard
anti-migrant
language
throughout
his
speech
in
Allentown,
at one
point
saying
the
United
States
had
become a
“giant
garbage
can”
where
countries
like
Venezuela
send
their
criminals.
“We’re
going to
protect
our men,
our
women,
we’re
going to
protect
our
country.”
President
Joe
Biden
drew ire
from
Trump's
campaign
for
remarks
about
the
Sunday
rally.
They
accused
him of
insulting
Trump
supporters.
Biden
later
said in
a post
on X
that he
had
spoken
of the
"hateful
rhetoric
spewed
by
Trump’s
supporter”.
