Mural on

Huntington
Tower
DETROIT
- When
Huntington
colleagues,
customers,
and
guests
enter
the
Detroit
Huntington
Tower,
they
will see
a new
mural
masterfully
painted
by
internationally
renowned
Fresco
artist
Dr.
Hubert
Massey.
His
bold,
vibrant
images
can be
spotted
throughout
the
metropolitan
Detroit
region.
Huntington
commissioned
Dr.
Massey
to
create
the new
mural,
which
pays
homage
to the
bank’s
commitment
to
Detroit’s
vibrant
community,
including
The
District
Detroit,
where
the
Huntington
Tower
sits.
The
“Forging
the
Future”
theme of
the
mural
focuses
on
Huntington’s
ongoing
commitment
to
strengthening
the
communities
it
serves.
The
mural’s
visual
depicts
how
money
and
ideas -
or the
seeds of
ideas –
are
passed
from one
person
to
another
within a
community.
Detroit
Huntington
Tower
The
Detroit
Huntington
Tower is
a
21-story
building
in the
heart of
the
city’s
entertainment
district.
The
building
is a
modern
structure
with
flexible
workspaces,
state-of-the-art
amenities,
and a
beautiful
rooftop
terrace.
The
design
of the
building
marries
the
numerous
distinctive
and
historical
architectural
styles
of the
surrounding
landscape
to
project
a
timeless
image
that
contributes
to
Detroit’s
notable
skyline.
The
Tower is
the
headquarters
for
Huntington’s
Commercial
Bank and
is one
of the
newest
office
building
developments
in the
area in
more
than 30
years.
Its
presence
in
downtown
Detroit
symbolizes
the
bank’s
strong
commitment
to the
community,
and
dedication
to
Huntington
colleagues
across
southeast
Michigan.
