3, the
2025
Southwest
Detroit
Business
Association
(SDBA)
annual
breakfast,
themed
“Building
Beyond
the
Bridge,”
brought
together
over 200
business
and
community
leaders
at The
Corner
Ballpark.
Sponsored
by Bank
of
America,
this
year’s
gathering
commemorated
nearly
70 years
of
service
by the
association
while
shining
a
spotlight
on local
investment
and
community
growth.

relentless
leadership

Held
during
Hispanic
Heritage
Month,
the
event
served
as a
vibrant
celebration
of
Southwest
Detroit’s
rich
multicultural
heritage
and
entrepreneurial
spirit.
The SDBA
recognized
outstanding
contributions
to the
community
with
awards
presented
by
for
community
investment,
real
estate
development,
business
development,
and
relentless
leadership
commitment.
A
significant
focus of
the
breakfast
was on
the
SDBA's
initiatives
to
uplift
BIPOC,
immigrant,
and
Latina/o-owned
businesses.
Attendees
were
reminded
of the
association’s
crucial
role in
promoting
inclusive
economic
stability,
affordable
housing,
and
fostering
community
connections.
The
event
was
generously
supported
by

This
