- The
Detroit
Health
Department
conducted
a
reinspection
of
Lafayette
Coney
Island
on
Monday,
March 3,
confirming
that the
restaurant
met the
required
standards
to
reopen
on
Tuesday,
March 4.

the
voluntary
closure
of the
establishment,
highlighting
the
measures
taken to
resolve
health
concerns
raised
by
Environmental
Health
Inspectors.
The
update
also
emphasized
the
ongoing
collaboration
between
the
Detroit
Health
Department
and the
restaurant
to
uphold
safety
standards.
The
department
also
shared
the
steps
being
taken to
ensure
all
Detroit
restaurants
maintain
optimal
cleanliness
and
safety
standards.
