The

instant
success
when it
debuted
in 2025,
raising
$268,700
to
support
programs
that
serve
Detroit-area
youth
and
families.
While
the
inaugural
tournament
established
a strong
foundation,
2026
marks a
significant
milestone:
Hall of
Famer
Lomas
Brown is
independently
hosting
and
leading
the Golf
Classic,
with
tournament
proceeds
directly
benefiting
the
Lomas
Brown
Jr.
Foundation's
programs
and
community
initiatives.
Brown is
committed
to
expanding
the
event's
impact
and
ensuring

meaningful
opportunities
for
young
people
across

region.
"The
people
of
Detroit
and
Southeast
Michigan
love
helping
our
children
and
investing
in their
future,"
said
Lomas
Brown
Jr.
"This
event
was
successful
out of
the gate
because
of the
support
of our
corporate
partners
and
sponsors.
They
understand
that the
future
of our
entire
community
depends
on the
well-being,
education,
and
success
of our
children.
The
children's
future
is our
future."

will
once
again
participate
in this
year's
event,
united
by a
shared
commitment
to
creating
a
mindset
of
success
for
young
people
throughout
Michigan.
"This
year is
especially
meaningful
to me,"
Brown
said.
"As I
take the
lead in
hosting
this
event,
my focus
remains
on
creating
opportunities
for
young
people
and
bringing
our
community
together
to
invest
in the
next
generation.
The
support
we have
received
from our
sponsors,
partners,
and
golfers
has been
incredible,
and I am
excited
about
the
future
of this
event
and the
Foundation."
The
Foundation's
mission
is to
engage
youth in

skills
development
while
fostering
diversity,
inclusion,
and
leadership.
Foundation-supported
programs
embrace
the
philosophy
that
education,
mentorship,
and
sports
can
change
the
course
of a
young
person's
life.
Throughout
his

children
is what
truly
matters,"

"It is
an honor
to host
this
first-class
event
and
witness
our
community
step up
to help
children
learn,
develop,
and
succeed.
That
work is
only
possible
through
the
support
of our
corporate
partners,
