and NCAA
officials
announced
Thursday
that
Detroit
will
host a
stop on
the 2027
NCAA®
Men’s
Final
Four®
Fan Jam
Tour,
unveiling
the
plans
during
an April
9, 2026
press
conference
that
kicked
off the
region’s
year‑long
buildup
to the
championship.
The Fan
Jam
Tour, a
traveling
fan‑engagement
series
leading
up to
the 2027
Men’s
Final
Four at
Ford
Field,
will
bring a
full
slate of
basketball‑themed
activities,
entertainment,
and
community
programming
to
Detroit.
Organizers
said the
tour
stop
will
feature
interactive
hoops
stations,
skills
challenges,
photo
opportunities
with
NCAA®
championship
trophies,
appearances
by
basketball
personalities,
and
tournament‑themed
giveaways.
Officials
also
highlighted
youth
clinics
and
outreach
events
aimed at
expanding
access
to the
sport
and
connecting
Detroit
communities
to the
excitement
of March
Madness®.
Local
leaders
said the
Fan Jam
Tour is
an early
momentum
builder

prepares

welcome

thousands

visitors
