SCHEDULE
DETROIT,
MI – The
Detroit
Pistons
announced
today
the 2026
summer
schedule
for
“Pistons
Academy”
youth
basketball
camps
presented
by The
Carpet
Guys.
Camps
begin
Monday,
June 8
at Royal
Oak High
School
and
registration
is now
available
for all
Pistons
Academy
camps at
www.pistonsacademy.com.
The
Pistons
Academy
camp
tour
will
visit 15
metro
Detroit
and
greater
Michigan
locations,
highlighted
by a
camp at
the
Henry
Ford
Pistons
Performance
Center
where
the
Detroit
Pistons
practice
and
train.
Additionally,
Pistons
Academy
announced
a new
premier
camp at
Livonia
Churchill
as well
as two
new
tournament-style
camps in
Novi and
Northville.
Pistons
Academy
will
also see
the
return
of the
Motor
City
Cruise
“Mini
Cruisers”
camp for
kids
grades
1-3 at
Wayne
State
Fieldhouse,
the home
of the
Pistons’
G League
affiliate,
as well
as the
all-girls
camp at
Compound
Athletics
in
Sterling
Heights
in
partnership
with Jr.
WNBA.
“Pistons
Academy
Youth
Basketball
Camps
are back
this
summer,
bringing
an
action-packed
season
of
Detroit
Basketball
to 18
sites
across
metro
Detroit
and
greater
Michigan,”
said
Aaron
Smith,
Sr.
Director
of Youth
Engagement.
“We’re
looking
forward
to
delivering
memorable
on-court
experiences
for
every
camper,
fostering
a
high-energy
atmosphere
focused
on
quality
instruction,
development
and
skill
enhancement.”
Pistons
Academy
youth
basketball
campers
receive
NBA-level
instruction
and
individual
skill
development
in an
atmosphere
that
promotes
increased
passion
for the
game.
Camp
sessions
are
available
for
girls
and boys
entering
grades
3-9 and
range
from
$185-$399
per camp
with
early-bird
pricing
available
until
April 1.
Each day
consists
of
professional
instruction
and
innovative
skill
development
during
the
morning
hours
followed
by
full-court
games
and
contests
in the
afternoon.
All
youngsters
participating
will
receive
an
exclusive
Pistons
reversible
jersey,
visits
by
Detroit
Pistons’
personalities
and two
complimentary
tickets
to a
2026-27
Detroit
Pistons
home
game at
Little
Caesars
Arena.
