The
Wolverines
demonstrated
a strong
defensive
performance,
marking
their
second
consecutive
bowl
game win
against
Alabama.
With
2:18
left in
the game
and
trailing
by six
points,
Alabama
attempted
a final
drive
into the
red
zone.
Michigan's
defense
applied
pressure
on
quarterback
Jalen
Milroe,
forcing
a
turnover
on downs
to
secure
the
victory.
The
Wolverines'
defense
was
crucial,
forcing
three
turnovers
in the
first
quarter
and
limiting
Alabama
to -2
total
yards.
Michigan
built an
early
16-0
lead
and,
despite
being
outscored
in the
second
quarter,
shut out
Alabama
in the

half,
