Iran
launched
multiple
ballistic
missiles
toward a
U.S.
military
base in
the
Middle
East on
Tuesday,
in a
strike
that
U.S.
Central
Command
described

U.S. and
regional
defense
systems
intercepted
all of
the
missiles
before
they
reached
their
targets,
and
officials
said
there

reports
of
casualties.
Iran’s
Revolutionary
Guard
later
claimed
responsibility
for the
attack
and said
it had
targeted

Muwaffaq

Air Base
and the
headquarters

Jordanian

missiles

The

Iran-backed
militias

The
